The Swiss Army fragrances aren't famous for originality, but they're solidly made and they smell good. Altitude, though not groundbreaking by any means, is an excellent woody citrus scent, and is probably the best in the entire line.
What I love about Altitude is how green it smells. You get a sharp juniper blast in the beginning, along with a fresh, natural smelling green leaf note that manages to hang on for hours. Underlying the green freshness is a robust black pepper smell that actually lasts until the scent disappears from your skin. It smells like a stripped down version of Oscar For Men. Altitude is also very strong for this kind of fragrance, with moderate projection and staying power of about 12 hours.
If Acqua di Gio smells too synthetic and boring for you, this might be just for you, as it's a very green and much more masculine take on that style.
