My Favorite YouTube Reviewer

For those of you who like watching video perfume reviews, I want to let you know who my favorite video reviewer is on YouTube: a guy who goes by "stumptown smells".  If you like my blog for its straightforward style, you're going to love this guy.

Check out this great video review of One Man Show Gold Edition:

I thought I was a powerhouse frag fan, but this guy puts me to shame.  He wears One Man Show Gold Edition to work, about once a week, and uses five sprays when he wears it.  I think I would either choke to death or, at a minimum, have perpetual olfactory fatigue if I wore more than two sprays of One Man Show Gold Edition.  Sorry, wearing One Man Show Gold Edition once every few months is enough for me.

His reviews of Quorum and his 26 favorite inexpensive fragrances are other favorites of mine.

Anyway, definitely check out Stumptown Smells' YouTube video reviews.  He delivers them in a great, straightforward, meat-and-potatoes style that is entertaining but also has a lot of substance.  I also like his complete lack of pretention.

Stumptown Smells, if you are a reader of this blog, reveal yourself!

  1. I was thinking if you were a YouTuber, you would be stumptownsmells. Haha. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Thank you so much for the kind words! I suppose I do love what are now 'old school' perfumes. Its why I always chuckle when I hear younger men talk about 'beast mode' this and 'beat mode' that. Hah! Clearly they have never had the pleasure of experiencing a little down and dirty oakmoss bomb from 1987.

  3. Welcome! I'm glad you spoke up! I'm 50 years old and grew up in the 70s and 80s, so I too thought it was funny when I first heard guys calling stuff like Drakkar Noir, which I wore in the 80s, as "old school". Now I guess it is.
